I have to go to a really good friends baby shower this weekend. She will be 38 weeks pregnant and I will be just over 2 weeks post partum.

I exclusive breastfeed my baby and have anxiety if I even have to leave her in another room for a while ... So she kind of has to come with me or we aren't going. I was thinking i would take her, leave her in the stroller and only stay a short period, not let anyone hold her and keep her covered up. I am prepared to fight people off, I don't want people I don't even know touching my brand new baby!

I offered to just send a gift as I think bringing my new baby will take away from her day but she wants us to come. She doesn't understand how hard it is to be a new mom yet.

I don't know what to do!
