Your ass does not need to be showing for you to get an education. Just follow the dress code.

What happened to following the schools dress code??..

Schools have a dress code. I would never wear anything inappropriate to school because why would you? I wouldn't wear short shorts. I disagree with this

If your shorts are too short it's not that you're distracting boys, it's that you need to dress like you have some respect for yourself. The attention you get from showing skin isn't the attention you want. Trust me

Schools have a dress code for a reason, and that's why you follow them. I have to admit, some are too strict saying you can't show any collar bones! But stuff like short shorts?? Like... No 😂 Bras are undergarments, and just how like guys aren't allowed to sag to show there underwear, girls shouldn't show their bra straps. Maybe I'm just looking at stuff the wrong way, but school isn't the place to dress provocatively. Wear what you want out of school though, no ones gonna care except maybe your parents 😂 They're not saying a boys education is more important, they're saying "you didn't follow the rules, so now you're in trouble"

It's not a suprise when you get to school. The dress code is very standard. Your fashion statement is also not more important than other students education. Dress appropriately and you won't have an issue.

I actually agree for the most part. I understand schools have dress codes, but I think boys should be taught at a young age that women are not sexual objects. If a boy is so distracted that a girls bra strap is poking out that he can't focus on his school work, that sounds to me like he has an issue and it's not the girls clothing. I don't think girls should go to school wearing Daisy dukes with their butt cheeks hanging out, but if they're dressed age appropriate and don't have everything hanging out all over the place then who cares.

Sorry but my daughter will not go to school with her boobs or butt hanging out of her clothes. With that being said, some school dress codes go a little overboard especially when it's hot out

I agree with this sign. Many dress codes are horrible and outdated unfairly targeting young women. I also think sending them home to change is absurd. It wastes precious educational time. My Jr.high was a particularly terrible example. I have vivid memories of girls (and only girls) being called to the front of the class and having their outfits measured, critiqued, and occasionally mocked by our teachers. Not ok.
