Spotting after sex?

SO and I had sex last night and during and after I had some brown spotting. This is my second and never experienced this with my first. I'm 6 weeks 6 days. I also had slight cramping on my left side. Is this normal? I have an appointment for my first ultrasound on the 27th.

Brown blood is old blood. Spotting after sex can be normal and as long as it didn't continue or getting heavier and red I wouldn't worry. But it wouldn't hurt to tell your doctor about it just to be safe.

Yes it is normal it happens to me. I asked my doctor about it because I am pregnant with my first and it freaked me out. She told me it was ok because there is more blood flow down there because your body is getting adjusted to the baby. But I would still say something to your doctor anyway.
