So I researched as much as I could as a FTM on car seats and just bought the one on my registry because it was on sale 60% off. It's a convertible car seat and and grow with your baby one. No handle, it's meant to stay in the car. My question is (and I'll ask at my next appointment) don't hospitals have to test the car seat? The hospital I work at I've noticed they test all infant car seats and it takes like 45 mins.. but if my car seat has to stay in the car...how would they test it? And yes this particular convertible car seat can be used for taking baby home as it starts at 5 pounds rear facing.
