Ultrasound cause bleeding?

Question

Went to doctors today for my first tv ultrasound (7 weeks 4 days). Saw the baby and heartbeat of 141. 
4 hours afterwards I have a gushing of bright red blood that soaked my entire underwear. I don't think I'm cramping, but now I believe anything I feel would be bad.

Has anyone bled (not spotted) after an ultrasound?? 
Edit: I called doctors office and they said it is normal and could have aggravated my cervix and just be bleeding from that and not where the baby is.

EDIT again: went back to doctors and have Sub-chorionic hemorrhage. Just a coincidence I guess it happened on same day as ultrasound.

I know spotting after an ultrasound is normal, but gushing doesn't sound good.

I havent bled or spotted after an ultrasound.  Not even a pelvic exam.  Id get checked out if i were you.  Could just be that or your cervix coulda opened a bit.  Good luck!

I did. I bled a lot with clots but I'm 34 weeks now

I had 5 transvaginal ultrasounds with this pregnancy and never even had a spot of blood.  I would think a bit of spotting could be considered normal but not a gush!  I personally would go to the ER to get checked out...
