Leaving a baby after your first has died.. post partum?

I am more sad and scared and untrustworthy than I have ever been in my life! 
My first son died at daycare at 3 months and I have to leave my second son in two weeks and I can't stop worrying,  crying!  I'm so broken!  How do you get through?  Help moms!

I am so sorry. 😔  We know a couple who also lost their baby at daycare because she was put in the crib with a blanket and became entangled.  They're currently expecting their second child and the mother has chosen not to return to work after the baby is born for this very reason. I genuinely can't blame her, and seeing what they've gone through has made me hesitant to return to work as well. I don't have any good advice. I just wanted to say how strong you are and that no one else can tell you what's "right" in this situation.

Look for a center that has a NAEYC accreditation! Or look into your states rating scale! Contact your State DPaw and they can help you find a center that is high quality with high standards and educated teachers

I can't even image how hard that would be, so sorry. But I really don't trust day cares either. I used to be a nanny/babysitter on care.com. There's references and background checks for these women and they come to your home so your baby will be comftorable. And they are cheaper than day cares. Only advice I can offer, but I hope you get through this 💕

I work at my sins daycare and in a week I'll be his teacher. The other lady is quitting or she'd be fired. I'm sorry for your loss in not sure how that even happens. I'm only out of the room to wash bottles in the kitchen at which point the teacher next door watches my room and while they sleep we are in the nap room or at the end of the day we do checks on them. I'm always super nervous when they've been sleeping forever and yes  I'm the teacher who checks to make sure they are still breathing

I am so sorry, I go back Tuesday and I'm a wreck in general. I can't imagine what you're going through. Was it because of a negligent daycare??

After losing a baby at daycare I personally would've never had another baby if I knew I'd have to go back to work. I mentally couldn't handle it. I hope you find strength to do it since obviously you don't have a choice. Def find a better, more reputable daycare to help put your mind at ease.
