Period is due in 3 days and my cm is white long and stringy, kinda like fertile cm but not egg white color. Any thoughts?!

Do you temp? And do you know if you ovulated this month? 
Because your describing egg white cm, which doesn't have to be clear or white. Cervical Mucous is described as a texture or consistency. Colour is not a factor in which type of CM you have. 
It is possible to ovulate that late in your cycle.
