38 weeks and 3 days, dilated 1cm!!!

I know I sound silly but I've never been so excited. My OBGYN told me not to be sad if my cervix is still closed since thats common for first time moms but I was 1cm! stripped my membrane and I even had a contraction on the table as she was measuring my stomach. I didn't feel it but it was still a contraction!
