Getting Hubby Interested

Long story short, my husband will not even acknowledge this pregnancy because he "doesn't want what happened last time to happen again".  A year ago I had ruptured ectopic twins, emergency surgery, and lost the left tube.  Took us another year to conceive.  I thought after an ultrasound confirmed it was it the right spot he'd feel better, but he still just "doesn't want to get his hopes up".  I am going in to check for a heartbeat Friday, but afraid he still won't connect, and this is going to be a long 9 months to be excited in my own little world without him.  Thoughts?!
