Food troubles

I'm having a hard time eating healthy. I know I should be and am trying when I can, but I keep wanting bread and sweets! I had   bulimia for over 15 years - but haven't struggled in over 3 now. Does anyone have advice on how to keep your eating under control? I know if I don't- and I gain too much too soon I'm going to start feeling too guilty, and I really don't want to go down that road anymore.
