Will I be okay?

Question

So I am taking amoxicillin for strep throat, if I have a yeast infection will that be cured too?

I don't think I have one, but I am curious.

I took amoxicillin when I was younger and it gave me a minor yeast infection. I was prescribed cream that quickly relieved it. Now when I go to the doctor I tell them I'm allergic to amoxicillin to avoid that experience again lol.

Antibiotics cause yeast infections. It will probably make it worse. Tell your doctor you have a yeast infection and load up on probiotics.

No it will make it worse if anything.. Just go to your local drug mart and get canestan lol it's easy
