In-laws - SERIOUSLY?!

When we found out about our beautiful surprise (after 3 miscarriages last year) words just cant describe the joy and excitement! I know so many moms can relate ....

So when idiot in-laws but in trying to rain on your parade... There should be a 'courtesy shot' allowed by law. By shot I mean by a bbgun or paintgun.... Or tranquilizer!

Im not picky!

We ignored tons of comments. We focused on our joy. My husband is over the moon happy!

Right away we started having fun with names.

I picked the girls name. He took longer with the boys. He really wanted a J name.... To match his name.

My hubbys a truck driver so we mostly talk on the phone or thru fb during the week. He bought a baby name book on the road and went thru it (I thought that was sweet).... Finally! finding a name that he jumped up and down for. 'Jackson!'... To keep the intials the same as his he wanted to find a middle name with an F.

One day while with his parents - who vocally do NOT approve of us having another baby. (This is our 2nd together but we are blended. Neither of the other parents are involved, just us 2)

When they got wind of the name Jackson they literally had a hissy fit. They didnt just say they didnt like it, they both went on for an HOUR about how ugly the name is and how its not a proper first name - ITS A LASTNAME!...

Eventually they asked about the middle name.... This is were my revenge came in....

Jon, my hubby, explained about an F middle name. As their faces showed signs of disapproval I quickly interjected and said we had the most perfect name.

Because (if its a boy) it will be our 5th son between us... I said I was using the name 'Five' for the middle name.

Slowly his mom put the name together and said

JACKSON FIVE ??... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THATS AWFUL!!!

I responded.... Thats ok. You dont have to see him or hold him. Im not going to want to share anyway.

Then she said... You should just name him Jackass Fucker if you want to screw his life up. I said Dont tempt me. I just might.

Lol... I blame pregnancy hormones for my lack of filter and support.

I have the best prank planned if things dont i prove by the time our baby comes.

My girlfriend is also due the sametime as me. Shes black. She told me we can swap babys the day I take our baby to meet his side of the family.

*****UPDATE*****

JACKSON CHARLES is now 7 months old and has only seen his grandparents two times (at 2 days old and at 5 weeks)

My husband and I are white. So imagine me bringing a black baby over and telling everyone his name is Jackson Five!! I wish we could be on 'Puked' the tv show.

Im adopting my step daughter who just so happens to be half black - she heard the idea and thought it was perfect! What a great way to prank nasty in-laws. Lol
