Usually 3-4oz every 2.5-3 hours? I just feed him when he's hungry and don't cut him off. He's growing quick and I feel like if he's hungry, he needs to eat.

My baby is 3 weeks old today she eats 2.5 oz every 2 hours during the day and about every 4 hours at night.. Dr said that's too much for her.. she told me only 2 oz every 2-3 hours and she can move up 1/2 oz at 1 month lol.. but my baby likes to eat so whatever.. I feel horrible cause i feel like she's still hungry after her 2.5 oz 😔

3oz every 3ish hours. Sometimes she drinks less and sometimes she fusses for more which I give her. She is just a peanut at 7lbs so I figure she needs to eat however much she wants

Thank you ladies. I have been giving my baby boy around 2-2.5 oz every 2 hours or so and he still is hungry. When I've given him 4 oz he is content and happy and lasts around 3 hours. When I went to the pedetrician when he was 2 weeks old he said I shouldn't be given him that much. But my question is since he is almost a month old 4 oz shouldn't be too much can it?
