mix up twins?

I'm due to have my identical girls in a few weeks and I'm sooooo scared of mixing them up. Do you parents sometimes mix up your twibs? Like I will obviously find out if their will be something to tell them apart,  it if there isn't??

Just assign Colours to them and then identify them with nail polish of their colors on their toes. I think it will help.

I heard putting children's nail polish on like one toe is a good way. It doesn't just wash off and it's safe and non toxic because it's for children.

In the beginning put a mark on one of their feet with safe non-toxic marker.

Eventually you will learn their personalities, but as a sleep deprived mama with little raisin monsters that don't do too much the first few weeks... I could totally understand the fear of mixing them up. That's what I'm planning on doing if I ever have twins. Especially since I'm on a neuroblocker at night, so I'd probably have an even harder time of that as I'm sorta doped out then.

I would assign a color to each baby. One wears pink, the other purple. That seems like the easiest to me.

The more time you spend with them you'll be able to tell, but at first it'll be hard. If I had twins, that'd be my biggest fear. Something's I've heard is making a mark with a safe marker on their foot(or somewhere similar), or just giving each one certain colors to wear. The mark would probably be easiest. As long as the marker is safe for babies of course.
