Help please. How do i tell someone i cant baby sit anymore?

So Im 18 and a mommy of a 14 month old. I baby sit my mother in laws friends baby and she is 2 months old. The reason why i don't want to baby sit anymore is because the baby has colic and i can't handle the screaming 24/7 its really frustrating. The babys Mother didn't even tell me that she has colic or stomach issues. I can't get anything done around the house either because the poor baby is in pain from her stomach being in knots all the time and if i put her down she screams and i feel like i can't give my child the attention he needs while watching this baby.

I have bad anxiety and i hate confrontation im scared to tell her that i can't baby sit anymore. (She's very outspoken and I'm scared that she'll hate me and yell at me or something if i tell her i cant do it anymore) 
I just dont know how to tell her i cant baby sit anymore! I dont want to come off as rude or anything. I always overthink ugh..

I'd ask your mother in law how best to handle her, she will know as it's her friend how to approach her without creating drama.

Give her some warning. Say a week or 2 so that she can find someone. 
But let her know that 2 is too much for you, that you're not able to do much of what you need to do and that she should look for someone else. That in one or 2 weeks (up to you) you won't be returning. 
She may just ask you to leave right away. That's fine.

Honestly you probably won't see her again anyways.

Have you tried burping, pressing babies legs to the stomach and release called bicycles.  Putting baby to sleep on his or her stomach while you are awake and in the same room.

Try talking to the pediatrician about seeing a gastrointeeologis doctor. Switching formula. Or bottles to something that says anti colic

Have you checked all the signs, baby is fed. Held. Bathed. Diaper cleaned and put some diaper cream. Check temperature of the baby. Check the room temperature. Check for signs of over tired maybe even teething. Burp after every feeding for at least 5 minutes.

Tell her your hands are full with your little one.

I wanted to share the colic advice just in case other mom's are dealing with it.
It can be as simple as a cow's milk allergy to being over full.

Your doing this lady a favor. You don't need an excuse on why you can't babysit anymore. And it's not rude to decline the job. It's just that a job. I'd just tell her your sorry but this arrangement isn't working for you, plus give her 2 wk notice so she can find another sitter.

Just thought I'd mention it… Have you tried baby wearing with the baby? Anyway, if you're set I'm not babysitting anymore, I think you should just be honest about it and say that you are having a hard time handling both children and need to focus more on your own child, so you won't be able to do it anymore.

I agree with talking to your mother in law. You may want to try a few days of wearing the baby. It generally calms the baby, you have both hands free, and if you have a good carrier doesn't bother your back.

Just be honest and tel her you want what's best for her child and you aren't able to give her the attention she needs bc you have your own child also and her child needs extra attention. If she gets mad kick her out. Better yet do it at her house so you can leave.
