What hcg levels are normal?

I had iui done on September 1st, on the 16th my hcg was 230, on the 19th 514, and on the 21st 1,138... is this too high for a single pregnancy? A nurse said I was likely pregnant with twins..... this is my first pregnancy.

My singleton was greater on HCG than my twin pregnancy. I lost my single and am 12w1d with my twins.

My HCG was 411 at my first blood test and over 8,000 with the second. HCG levels aren't always a good indication of multiples though.

Levels can vary greatly from person to person. The only way to know if you really are having multiples is with an ultrasound.
