i just wanted to share some insight with you ladies about what my dr told me last week. my husband and i basically decided against getting one because we thought it may give us unnecessary anxiety if we had a hard time locating the heartbeat. my dr then told us it also can give you a false sense of reassurance. he had a patient that wasn't feeling the baby move and she kept reassuring herself that everything was ok with the doppler. turns out she was probably just getting her heartbeat and the baby had passed. something to think about. if you aren't trained in the medical use or fetal doppler maybe it's best to steer clear. just a thought
