Is it supposed to feel like its gonna fall out? Does the string stay hanging? How long is it supposed to stay? Help

It might not be in far enough if it feels like it's going to fall out. Yes, the string stays out. You pull on the string to take it out. You should change it every 1-3 hours depending on how heavy your flow is. Don't leave it in for longer than 6-8 hours at a time or else you could develop toxic shock syndrome.

I only ever wear regular absorption tampons to ensure I'm taking it out often enough. When my flow is heavy, I also wear a pad and change that every two tampons. During my heavy flow days, I feel like the tampon is falling out when it's super full and needs to be changed. Otherwise, no it shouldn't feel like it's falling out nor should it be uncomfortable or even noticeable that you're wearing one. If it's uncomfortable, it's not in far enough and you definitely want the string out so you can remove. I've been wearing tampons for over ten years and have never been able to put one in so far that the string can't be reached. I'm positive they are designed so that's nearly impossible to get it in that far.
