But my doctor also put me on the pill to stop me from bleeding for months at a time

I loved my Implanon, I wouldn't use any other form of BC. Give your GP or gum clinic a call and they will book you in at the most appropriate part of you cycle

DONT GET IT my sister has gained 60 pounds with it and they r saying she will probably have to pay $200 to get it removed keep in mind she's only had this a couple months

Never it's terrible!!! And your body forms scar tissue around it mine was so bad it took an hour to get removed due to scar tissue

I had this thing and did nothing but bleed on it not only that when they went to take it out they couldn't find it and I had to go have an X-ray done to find it then I had to have it surgically removed. I wouldn't do it again nor would I recommend this thing to anyone ever!!

Depends i would as your doctor. I got the mirena 6 weeks after having my son and havent had any issues. I only bled for about a month but it was light nothing heavy now it stopped all together i love it.
