I've been seeing on Facebook about teacher's salaries and how little it is. Especially after taxes.

Do you think teachers should be paid more? They are considered to receive low pay. Why or why not?

I personally think so because if it were not for teachers, there would not be most professions. I feel like teachers are a big part of society. They are under-appreciated in my eyes.

I do live in the United States, Oklahoma to be exact (which honestly this state is so backwards with everything, including school funding). So I'm not sure how things are in other states or countries.

I do know nearly all teachers are not doing it for the money, but the reward of teaching.

Any teachers here who would like to chime in also, please do. I would love to hear what you all think too.
