Gift basket for nurses?

Question

So I saw at post a while ago about this woman making a gift basket for her nurses that she had ready and gave them before giving birth I believe. I thought it was a great idea and wanted to know if anyone else has done it? If so what did you put in it, and when did you giv sit to them? What were their reactions?

If you haven't done it but plan to what will you be putting in it ? Idk where to start !

I will be doing something like this. Easier to do one big gift than try to guess how many individual ones you'll need. And nurses eat on the fly..I'll add some healthy things too (apples, oranges, bananas, etc)

I am getting snacks and Starbucks drinks to put in a gift basket for my nurses, as for my delivery doctor with my first we got him a gift card to a steak house and wrote a little letter telling him to take our spot at date night and have a nice meal out with his wife since we wouldn't be going out anytime soon. 😊

I put the nurse basket out and gave my doctor the gift card before I had the baby. I saw it as an incentive to make sure they take care of me and baby. You get those nurses sometimes that are mean and grumpy and just don't care so I figured if they had some kind of gift they'd be more polite. 😊

Love this idea. Especially because one of my nurses with my first baby got real serious me - basically tired of listening to me complain lol and that baby was out 10 minutes later! (After an hour of pushing already) She was amazing and really helped me. Wish I had had something for her!
