What is with this dog??

Question

So my SO and I have a female pit, she just turned 1 and our friends have a dog that is probably 4 months younger, both females and every since she was a puppy she's been obsessed with licking my dog in the mouth. It's getting to the point where I don't want my dog around her because it's just so freaking annoying. Why does she lick her so much?? What does this mean?? My dog lets her but she is starting to growl and get annoyed as well. The owners don't do anything to help either. They think it's funny if anything. 😒

It's a submissive behavior. You can't change it unless you keep them separated

It's submission, wolves do that to their alpha and they will do it to pack members to see where they've been what they've eaten etc.

It's a grooming thing. My cat does it to my Pit & my dog licks the crap out of my cats. I don't know if there's anything you can do to stop it, but it sounds like your dog really doesn't like it so I'd tell the other owners

We have a pit/American bulldog and she is 13 and still has not given up having to lick everyone and everything. It is horrible and annoying and nothing we have tried has ever worked.

My sister had a American bulldog/mastiff who is super friendly.  When they bread her Boston terrier (not together) lol. The puppies loved licking her American bulldog in the mouth.  He is a gentle giant and let them.   I think that they can smell food left in the teeth or gums.  This may be what the other dog is attracted to.  After all they are animals.   I don't think it's bad but if it's annoying you maybe talk to the owner?

Idk... my grandma's dogs do that to each other! And they also lick inside each others ears 😩 so gross lol
