My husband is in the navy & we have just been assigned his duty station in Virginia. They "supposingly" want us to move at the end of Nov or sometime in Dec, but for thanksgiving my parents have offered to pay for our plane tickets to join them in LA to see my dad's family. My husband has yet to meet them & I haven't seen them in years. And he said he doesn't know for sure if he can go yet, so would I be a bad wife for leaving him this thanksgiving? He will be alone which he says he is fine with. But Being married to someone in the military has caused me to miss out on so much. My parents offered to pay for a cruise this summer & I passed on that to be with my husband also. I keep passing up all these trips & missing out on these vacations with my family & it is making me sad and annoyed. 😑 don't get me wrong, I am proud of my husband and appreciate what he does... but I really want to spend thanksgiving with family this year(we didn't last year either). I would love for him to Join me but he always gets annoyed when I ask him to ask his HMs to make sure. What do y'all think?
