any experiences with getting a refund from Groupon? (Hung up on by merchant!)

Immediately after purchasing the Groupon I called the number provided and tried to make my appointment. I was told by a woman that they lost power to the salon due to a storm and could not service me at this time; because I had purchased through Groupon and not her directly. If I had purchased through her directly then she could come to me and service me that same day. I was told to call back next week. I called back the following Tuesday and again spoke to a woman, she told me that I had spoken with her assistant the first time and was given the wrong information. She claimed that they were not currently set up in any building, and that she couldn't service me until she was in a building because Groupon would not allow it. I was told that they would have a building in three weeks. Two days ago, I called again as it had been three weeks. The same woman answered and seemed annoyed when I told her that I was trying to redeem a purchased voucher from Groupon. She claimed she could not redeem it because she had no salon, and when I asked when one would be available, she said she had no idea. Then I was hung up on and have been unable to contact them since. I'm asking for a refund for the Groupon I purchased, hoping they will honor that.
