Boy problems !!!!

I was with this guy for 3 years, he was my first boyfriend & first love. We took each other's virginities & he we was my bestfriend. I was always there for him but the timing was just wrong we both were growing up and our lives were just going in different directions. We started arguing and it just turned bad we both were miserable. We knew that we loved each other but that just wasn't enough to keep us together since we both had stuff going on. We called it quits but we never really stopped talking it was less than usual but never completely cut off from each other. Well he got a girlfriend and I was mad hurt like y'all don't understand. So I pulled back a little bit and got a boyfriend months later. Well he's now single and we started talking again and I can't help but still think there could be something between us. What should I do ?!??!
