If you already know you're getting induced or having a csection, why? Do you already have your date set?

I am having a csection (my 3rd) and it's scheduled for Dec 28th (my due date is January 4th). My first pregnancy ended in an emergency csection after 18 hours of labor. With my second I opted to have scheduled csection due to fear of having another emergency csection. This time around I wanted to try vba2c, but Doc said No Way. So csection it is :)

I'll be having a scheduled c section around 12/28. With my first I was induced & had a hard delivery so my second was scheduled for c section however she decided to come 2 days before schedule.

Scheduled induction. Don't know the date yet but I will not go past 37weeks due to circumvallate placenta (it's really thin on one side and can tear), and him only having 2 of the 3 vessels in his umbilical cord. I'll go in for weekly ultrasounds and stress tests, when his growing stops, heart beat lowers, or too much pulling on the placenta is seen, I will be induced that day if it's before the 37 week mark. 😁
