Blood clotting

I don't know where to post this but today my boyfriend was fingering me and it wasn't even hardcore but we haven't been doing a lot of sexual things because i have the nexplannon implant and I've been on my period for 3 months. Well it finally stopped a mouth ago. Anyways so when he pulled his fingers out he had a big blood clot on his finger. Biggest clot I've seen from me. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen before? I've been thinking about getting my implant removed because its getting annoying with the bleeding so if it's not normal that stupid thing is coming out.
