How Abortion Affects The Relationship!
I know this is a controversial topic but I just wanted to express my concerns and get feedback from you guys about this! My boyfriend believes in abortion and if I were to get pregnant he suggests getting an abortion. This makes me feel like he doesn't care about me and how it would affect me at all. Perhaps I am misreading his intentions but It's a medical procedure. It could have long lasting emotional affects as well. I already suffer from emotional/mood disorders. Plus, I'm scared of doctors and surgeries etc. If I were to get one I'm scared that I would end up blaming him for any difficulties that I would experience afterward. I don't want to end up resenting him and I don't want us to drift or be torn apart. The other side of the argument is that if I keep the baby I could be forcing him into a decision that I imposed on him. If he isn't ready to be a father he could resent me for having the baby. I could use some outside perspective about this and some advice. Just so you know he is a very caring, hard working and compassionate person! And we love each other dearly.
