Should I get my tattoo colored in this way or is it too much??

I got a tattoo of roses about 2 years ago and my tattoo artist changed ink on the top 4 roses (second sitting) but didn't tell me. Then I ended up having an allergic reaction to the ink. Now that the doctor has said it's okay to tattoo over it again, I want to do color instead. All my tattoos are black and I'd like to add some color. I have PCOS and breast cancer and ovarian cancer run in my family, so I was thinking of doing blues and pinks. The roses symbolize each member of my family (mom, dad, sister, brother, and me) what do you guys think would look good? Would it be too much to do all the roses multicolored? My tattoo:
