Tear In Placenta

Most of my pregnancy I've been lonely and home bound,so on Thursday after my glucose appointment my friend decided to take me to the mall to get out for once. She had a date in a few days and needed my help picking out a new outfit. We were almost there and she forgot something at home so she decided to turn around. She did everything right. She put her blinker on,looked over her shoulder, and then bam. We get hit in the back by a huge truck going 35 mph. This seemed like he was going faster then he said, considering her car is so small. We both had our seat belts on,but because of the impact I went forward, making the seatbelt puncture into my belly, and my head hitting the head rest. I was in shock, holding my stomach, because just 5 seconds before the accident we were laughing about how crazy it is I'm 30 weeks and we were listening to music singing along. Not knowing in a few short moments this would happen. The guy ran up to the car and immediately said "I'm so sorry I was on my phone!" The guy tried his best to ask if I was okay, but I was in shock. I was sitting there holding my stomach, starring out the windshield. My friend told him that she was okay, but I was 30 weeks pregnant and hurting. For some reason my friend didn't file a police report, only took his insurance and name and was on her way taking me to the hospital. Once I got to the hospital, they did an ultrasound and told me I had a tear in my placenta,so I stayed 2 days in the hospital until I was clear to leave. Now im sitting at home, watching all the signs they told me to watch. Such as bleeding, cramping, swelling, making sure the Baby moves. Not only did this man take away my peace of mind that my baby was going to be okay, but made me scared to get into my car again. Please, think twice about getting on your phone when you're driving. Things happen in the snap of a finger.
