When anyone via social media tries flirting I automatically just tell them I'm married because telling them I have a boyfriend doesn't work. Is that wrong?

What I think is wrong is that males at least the ones talking to you don't respect you enough to leave you alone once you've told them you're taken.

What is wrong is the fact you have to tell them you are married. You can't just say "Not interested."

You did nothing wrong. It is them in the wrong for not respecting you as a person to back off.
