Breastfeeding with Nipple Piercings?

does anyone know if you can still breastfeed after having nipple piercings?

I was planning to remove them with each feeding but my body pushed one out so I took out the other. Anyways. When I did start to breast feed I realized it would have been extremely difficult to do it. Plus my son likes to pull on my nipples so even using rubber rings would have been out of the question. On a brighter note, milk flows so well. I was full the other day and got two ounces out from 1 breast without doing a thing. Lol

I had my nipple pierced. I took out the ring when I started my second trimester. I had no problems breastfeeding on that side. I'm pretty sure the milk actually came out faster haha

You should still be able to, just have to remove the piercings so it's easier for the baby to latch on

I did! You just get the easy to remove plastic ones and take them out before feedings then put them back in.

Not sure if you currently have them or asking about once you've removed them... But I had my nipples pierced - you can see a bit of scar tissue now from where the piercings were - and we have absolutely no problem nursing. Hope this helps!
