Baby boy name spelling....

My hunny LOVES Oscar, while I'm not as sure of the name as he is I am willing to compromise to make us both happy :) I want the name to have a "y" in it, I already have a another name picked out with a y, but if he likes the spelling I have chosen we will name him Oskyr :). Is it terrible to spell Oscar uniquely? ? Please no negative or rude comments. Thank you
