Placenta Previa Experiences
I am 18 weeks. I went to my high risk doctor Friday and he scared my husband and me pretty terribly.
He explained I have Placenta Previa and shared how it could lead to maternal severe blood loss, blood transfusion, and death. I am currently on pelvic rest.
Has anyone had experience with this? I'm curious what your experiences were. For some reason I'm not that scared. Maybe it just hasn't hit me yet or maybe I'm a wishful thinker and believe it will go away.
I am very active, I free dive, snorkel, play basketball, and I'm always on my feet. I was not put on bed rest, only pelvic rest, but part of me wonders why he didn't put me on both judging by how serious he made it sound. Tell me your experiences!
