Full or Empty??

First scan today. Should I go in with a full or Empty bladder?

If it is your first ultrasound before 12 weeks it will highly likely be a transvaginal one, so you need to have an empty bladder.

It depends on the type of ultrasound if it's transvaginal you should have an empty bladder.

Full. I'm surprised they didn't tell you that! If you have too much pee they'll get you to empty your bladder.

They usually try abdominal ultrasound first. Then go to a vaginal if they need to see more clearly. I say go in with a full bladder. They will tell you to empty it before doing a vaginal one
