when is a good time to tell family!?

I am currently at 7 weeks & 1 day. I have my "first" official ultrasound on October 5th ... so excited. I was thinking of telling my mom, stepdad & sibilants that night, but idk if that's too early.

What do you guys think is a good time to tell family/friends?

We told parents, siblings and very close friends as soon as we found out. I just told my boss the other day (at almost 10 weeks) and will tell the rest of the world once we have our first scan (between 11-13 weeks).

Tell them whenever you feel comfortable with it. Some people like to tell early, some like to wait. There is no right or wrong answer.

We told close family (parents and siblings) the day I got a positive test! We were just so excited and I knew if anything happened I would want their support anyways.  I'm 9.5 weeks now and the waiting to tell the rest of my family is killing me! Disclaimer: personality wise, I can be a bit impatient and I HATE having to lie! Also I am petite so at 9 weeks I am already showing a little, plus the massive amount of bloat that looks like I am showing a lot. And I find that kind of hard to hide!

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and my first ultrasound is also the 5th! We are planning on telling parents and siblings next weekend when I can show them the ultrasound pic.

I told EVERYONE the day I got a positive pregnancy test. Lol
It's seriously completely up to you and your spouse.
