Pain meds while pregnant?

Anyone had to take pain meds while pregnant? No judgement. Had pretty substantial oral surgery this morning. Prescribed lortab but worried taking it, even though it's been OKd by my OBGYN and oral surgeon. Should only need it a few days. Im 22+2. I'm just the type who won't even take a Tylenol while pregnant. Tried taking just Tylenol w codeine but that's not cutting it. Just wanted some encouragement!

I was prescribed loratab for bad hip pain while pregnant. Only took it a few times but it's safe.

If it's prescribed to you that means your dr considers it safe. It's category c which means it's risky so in my opinion I'd only take it if you absolutely can't bare the pain. I'd exhaust all safer options before you take that. My Dr prescribed me fioricet for my migraines and that's category c. And boy let me tell you, I was miserable for days but I still didn't take it bc I didn't hit my pain limit. If you do take it, don't rely on it and I wouldn't take it alot. That's just my opinion.

Gynae doctor said paracetamol is safe to take in pregnancy.

Ive been told the only safe med to take is tylenol. Anything else contact your dr

When I had my root canals I just took Tylenol, you should be able to call your doctor and ask.
