OB because my insurance covers it and if shit goes down the tube, she can do something about it without handing off my care to another. Plus I have the best OB in the world!

Midwife. Because I am healthy and low risk. Because birth is not an automatic emergency, nor a disease. Because the hospital is more likely to interfere with the body's natural process if it doesn't "follow the textbook".

Midwife, because pregnancy and delivery is not a condition to treat, it's a natural journey that my body was made and created to do.

I live in Sweden. Midwives take care of all of the pregnant women and birth. It was an amazing experience for me. I was able to be so personal with my midwife and they were all so loving and kind. The way I was able to email or call her at anytime and book an appointment very fast made the whole experience less stressful for me. I'd go midwife all the way.

OBGYN. I trust an OBGYN far more than a midwife. OBGYNs trained and studied for longer, and have more of an understanding of the science behind everything. Plus I love my OBGYN. Very kind and gentle man.

Ob/gyn simply because I adore the practice I go to and specifically the doctor I see. I have never been more comfortable with a doctor in my life and to me that is the most important thing.

I love my midwives! ! They are highly skilled and can do a lot. My appointment s were long and they listened to me. And everything was about the baby and my comfort. I went to almost 42 weeks and, knowing I wanted to avoid induction, they monitored me closely. In labor there was no rush and I could do whatever felt right. They also took care of me as a whole and even educated my husband on symptoms of ppd and pp anxiety to watch out for.
