Spotting After Transvaginal Ultrasound
On Tuesday I had my first prenatal appointment, and was ordered an ultrasound on Wednesday because my last pregnancy I had a subchorionic hematoma and bleeding for the duration, ending with pre-term labor and the loss of my daughter. So far I've had no bleeding this pregnancy at all. At the ultrasound, we were told everything looked great, saw the baby, it's heart rate was 155, and even saw some movement. This morning when I went to the bathroom for the first time, there was slight pink spotting when I wiped, and not again since. Is it normal to spot after a transvaginal ultrasound? I have a call to my doctor and waiting for a call back, but of course in the meantime I'm researching everywhere. After my last pregnancy and the amount of bleeding I had experienced, I'm hyper aware of any type of blood this time around.
