Is it wrong that I don't want to wear a ring?

If I ever get engaged and married, I don't want to wear a ring. I've told my current boyfriend that if he ever proposes, to please not get me a ring. I know this isn't traditional, but I just hate rings so much, I hate the feeling of them, I don't want to wear them, and I don't want whoever I'm with to feel like they have to buy me an expensive ring so we can get married. I just don't want to have one!

Jewelry doesn't make the commitment actions do. If you're always acting like you're in a committed relationship there should be no question a ring would need to answer.

I'm somewhat the same way. I'd rather spend the money on something like a house or car for us, than a ring that really has no use. If I happen to marry someone that wants to get me something to represent our marriage, I'd probably just do a necklace or something

I been married for 12 years and my husband and I do not wear rings. We had rings, but mine was lost in a house fire. But either way, I would probably never wear them. I don't wear any jewelry at all.

I would say maybe if you don't want a ring allow him to get you something. Like earrings or a necklace or something to symbolize the marriage if that's what he wants to do. I'm not saying you need to be like "don't get me a ring but you better get me something". I just mean if he wants to get you something let him. Just let him know that whatever it is don't get a ring.
