So I have sort of been in this position about whether or not I should tell my boyfriend of four months that I love him or not. I really, really do love him and care about him more than anything. However, a couple people have told me (and I've seen some people on here say) the same thing to a similar post that I should wait to tell my boyfriend and let him say it first so I don't pressure him. (Sorry if that was confusing) I just don't understand why people think the guy should say it first and the girl needs to wait. Why is it not okay for me to say it in case he feels pressured but he can say it whenever he wants and I don't get to feel pressured. Maybe I'm overthinking it but when did it become a guys "thing" to say I love you first. It doesn't make any sense to me. I'm done now. To all that listened to me complain first, what are your thoughts on this?  🤔
