I am 34w 4d, I was up last night just generally uncomfortable and this morning I was having just non stop contractions but they weren't regular. After a few hours I went to the hospital and was monitored. They confirmed nothing seemed regular enough to be active labor and so the nurse checked me "just to be sure" my cervix was hard and closed... Nope, starting to soften and I'm dilated 2cm. This is my fourth baby but I was induced at 38 weeks with all three of them. Has anyone had similar experiences? And what was your outcome? We got sent home after three hours of monitoring today and on our way out the nurse said hopefully we'll get a couple more weeks... My MIL has hubby all freaked out though because she said this is exactly what happened to her at this point, got sent home and her water broke that night...
