I messed everything up....again

I've been texting this guy for a couple weeks. We went to high school together (even though I don't quite remember him), but we only started texting because I ran across his profile on an online dating app. One of the first things he said to me was that he had always thought I was cute-talking about in high school (16 years ago). To me, his texts came on a little strong (like within the first few days he had looked up our horoscope compatibility), but I went with it. I had to nudge him a bit to call me and the first night we were gonna talk I had to give a lame excuse, the truth but still an excuse, because my brother was being a lunatic. (I've been back living with my mom for 4 years now; that was a necessity, but little bro moving back in last month has thrown my once peaceful home into madness). Fast forward a week and he hasn't asked me out, so I took the initiative. We live in the country so I asked him over for a bonfire. That was supposed to be tonight. But, AGAIN, lil bro was acting like a nutcase and I had to get some me time and I literally took off to Florida (7hours) to see the beach. That was 3 days ago and I just got back. He had texted while I was driving down there, as he has every day up until then when I told him I was taking an impromptu vacation. I told him that bro just got to me and he said "so no bonfire then?" I said "I just don't know, I'm driving now, but I'll text you when I get to the beach." I got there, sent him a pic of my view and he texted back that he worked 12 hours and "wasn't up to texting". I texted him the next day and apologized for leaving with no notice, made a little joke of it, and got no reply. I then texted him, a very casual, cutesy text about sitting on the beach and ended it "you can text me back anytime..." Still- NOTHING, RADIO SILENCE!!
