Postpartum bleeding at five weeks

So I am five weeks and a few day and was barely bleeding but now suddenly I am bleeding again and have noticed a few pieces of stitches fall out. The dr said that is normal for them to fall apart as they dissolve and to fall out. But I never had this with the first pregnancy and I had more stitches that time. Does anyone else have that going on? No one I know has ever noticed stitches fall put before, I feel real uneasy about it despite what the dr said, if anyone else has or is experiencing this it would help me to relax I think.
