Anyone tried laparoscopy for endometriosis?

Hello :)

I'm just curious if anyone has had a laparoscopy done for endometriosis and if it helped at all?

I'm scheduled for one in December as an effort to help with pain during sex, low sex drive, and ridiculous periods riddled with killer cramps, nausea, diarrhea and depressive pms :(

Any insights are super appreciated!

I had it and it helped for maybe two months,  now I'm back to where I was. Even worst.

Yes I have had 2 fount out I had stage 2 endometriosis. Every body is different some women it works and others it don't. Unfortunately for me on the second time it has not worked at all and no riddled with painkillers.

Laparoscopies can work great but it's super important that your surgeon is an excision specialist. Just burning off the endo is not nearly as effective and more likely to return

Hi!! Yes I had one about 2 months ago and it helped SOOOOOOO MUCH! I hardly have any pain with my two periods since I had it and no pain at all when I have sex!! I really recommend it. The recovery is pretty fast two - within a week I was back on my feet. Hope this helps. Xxx
