Is this normal?

I started my birth control pill and period last Thursday,Sept 29th. I'm still bleeding, im not sure if its still my period or just spotting. Has this happened to anyone else?

That same thing happened to me I did the period start( started birth control on the first day of my period) and I was bleeding for 10 days mostly just spotting like but still, I think it's normal
