positive yesterday negative today what the hell!

I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning after a weird month of no pms and 3 days of on and off spotting and it was positive faint but there and showed up within the time frame. Took one today scratch that took 5 today and all negative .... I don't get it ... after four years of trying and NEVER seeing any form of a line I got so excited 😪
