What is the best infant car seat?

There are so many options and I don't know if I need to spend tons of money on one or if the cheaper ones are okay too.

Chico key fit is very easy to install and take on and off the base. It gives me peace of mind.

They all have to pass the same safety tests, but we went with a Chicco. My sister had a Baby Trend with her little one. Every time she picks up my car seat, she says how much more durable and better made it feels. Obviously they both are safe, but I think mine will hold up better for use with a second child, rather than having to buy another one in the future.

They all have to pass the same laws, so cost doesn't matter. I ended up getting a Graco convertible one so i can use it until she goes to kindergarten. 😂 I believe it was around $150 on Amazon.

I'd stay away from cosco. My friend swears by baby trend brand. We got a chicco brand because of good safety ratings, weight limits and easy installation.  (Plus it was on clearence half off at target)
