How do i tell my Dad????????

I only live with my dad and I got my period but I don't know how to tell him do any of you have any suggestions on how to tell him about my period??? (P.S me and my dad are close but I don't like talking to him about that kind of thing)

Tell him you need some stuff from the store. If he isn't catching on, just simply tell him. He's your father. He'll understand everything completely

Just know that periods r normal and he knows we get them he might not be as informative as a females but he should know bout them. Just tell him you got your period and need to go to store and get a few things

Sometimes you have to be straight up. He's a man and he should understand. When I told mine, I said "hey dad, can you take me the store? I have to get some girly things." And at first he had no idea what I meant but then he just said "oh, okay." And he figured out the rest on his own😂 truth is, you just gotta tell them. They will know sooner or later so just make it easier and say that you are a woman now!

Just ask him if he can get you pads or tampons which ever you would like. I txt my dad when i first got my. Lol exact words "hey can you pick up pads for me" his response "OH GOD"

Whenever I'm with my dad I just straight up tell him I need tampons. I know it can seem scary or awkward but most dads understand and won't think twice about it. :)

I had the same problem and I called him and told him on the phone from the other room. If you can't do that then I would reccomend texting him or telling him you need to go to the store. If he does take you to the store then just tell him you'll be right back you need to grab something and then put them in the cart like nothing happened. He won't say anything.
