My 3 month old does not want my breast milk anymore???🍼

Lately I try to make him latch on and he won't? Which is weird because when he was born he latch on perfectly. Also he hasn't been eating to often. I mean, ofcourse he eats BUT not as much? Has this happen to any of your children at this age?

My LO is doing the same thing. I have a call into my lactation consultant but haven't heard back. For the moment, pumping like crazy.

I went through the same thing at 3 months. I can't help because he still won't nurse at 5 months unless it's at night when he's sleepy or he's extremely tired during the day so I've been pumping for a couple months and it is so hard. A couple things that have worked a few times: nipple shield, giving pacifier for a minute and then quickly replacing with nipple, or giving 2 or 3 oz out of a bottle and then quickly switching to breast. Also call a lactation consultant

Does he not want to breastfeed or specifically doesn't want breastmilk? If it's breastmilk, maybe something you're eating is affecting how it tastes. If you just feel like he's eating faster, it's normal around 3 months for feedings to only last 10-20 minutes because they become far more effective at nursing. If he starts to lose weight though I would definitely go to the pediatrician and see what they recommend.
